What you're calling ACTUAL MDMA is the feeling I remember. A low key, sleepy vibe with lots of yawns and a deep gratitude for your friends and loved one(s). Something is lifted off your back, so to speak - there's a cosmic dread/anxiety that just uncoils itself and you never realized it was there until it left. Dim lights, Ganja making a steady rotation and the music is better off slow after a while when you're really in the thick of it.
If you're with your girl or boy you're overcoming with a lot of the positive emotions you associate with great sex and love, but you [or maybe just me] don't want to have sex, it's too... material? You end up just holding each other and feeling safe in every way until the sun comes up, your mind is a kaleidoscope of imagery and there are no sharp edges, You drift in and out of a pseudo-sleep where your dreams are stunningly beautiful.

It's funny, I never wanted to overdo this feeling - it always felt kind of sacred and best saved for special and intimate occasions where you can really hold onto that gratitude.

I stopped being able to find that kind of pill around 2K4 or thereabouts so I just said "fuck it, I quit."
