I am looking for a dresser for the office but my budget is quite low. I'd say 300€ (350$) maximum and in that price range you only get your standard Tissot or maybe some Seiko 5. So I started looking into vintage models and found this Bulgarian shop on chrono24 selling Poljot watches.

So I have a couple of questions: At this price range, can I buy a vintage soviet watch from the 70s and expect it working fine?
Is Poljot a good brand, quick rundown on its history?
Are there other good options in that price range for a simple dress watch for suit and tie?

What I like about these Poljots is I have russian ancestry so it would be a bit more personal to wear one but also they look a bit quirky and could be great conversation starters with higher up boomers.
