>I don't buy the clothes though, I don't spend a single fucking cent on this shit. I look at the artistic expression of these designers and I evaluate them
Sure you do.

>I'm just interested in art and the philosophy of art, of aesthetics, of beauty.
Then you know that art has always been, throughout human history, a commercial good of social status. Royal court painters, towns-tailors etc. This has always been the case, not just today. Whether you like it or not, art has mainly been a determinant of wealth and status, same as today.

>Why even own your pieces? Do they bring you pleasure from how they look and the their aethetic value?
Yes, obviously. Otherwise I wouldn't buy them. I'm being selective, regardless of brand or price point because I want something to fit ME and not me fitting to some artificial circle.

>are you so self indulgent and masturbatory all you care about is the brands you wear in the mirror and how the people you associate perceive you, that's exactly how you sound. You're not a critic or appreciator of art, just a mindless consumerist /fa/ fashion victim
We all are. You can't escape this. It is basic function of free markets and clothing distribution. Literally human nature. Inevitable in one form or the other. But I'm not being a delusional idealist about it.

>How do you think these designers see fashion when they design a piece?
They want to establish a brand. A mental association with a certain mainline aesthetic that is recognized universally. Every designer, every brand works towards that goal, because it secures their market slot. In case you're aiming at 'artistic expression', sure that might be the case for independent tailors, students etc. but anyone who owns a brand is in full business mode. These runway shows are merely self-indulgent promotion schemes. Even Rick Owens himself said "I'm not delusional about what this is to interpret it as some form of art. I'm aware this is a business."

Just where did I mention extending life? Fuck that, I don't even want to see 45. As for being a narcissist, you actually have me there. I am proud of where my body is at physically and where I am mentally. I don't care if you lift. I do cardio and that's about it. I know you're probably long gone by now but seriously if you think I'm from /b/ you're going to make me puke. As for the cow and chicken shit I was just high and making up bullshit. But the point still stands, being vegan doesn't need to be associated with animal rights, it's dietary for me because I want my body to fit a certain aesthetic. The lifting body type isn't me and fuck it. Like I said. I don't give a fuck if someone eats meat because guess what? It doesn't fucking affect me.

Why soap on your face? You should probably invest in a proper face wash.

What are you guys using for HK proxy services? Sutocorp isn't offering their chinese services anymore and I need to purchase something from a webstore.

Questions that don't deserve their own thread in the meantime.
