Hey guys. My beloved mom decided to gift me a watch for finishing my master's. I tried to refuse but she insists. I never wore a watch because I am terrified of losing it since I have ADHD.
I usually dress simply, mainly in black, occasionally dark red/green. I'm 24 but look a bit younger than my age. I don't wear anything too fancy, the most fancy thing you'll see on me is a brandless polo shirt and maybe a suit occasionally. It will most likely be my only watch for a while.
I really like some Citizen designs, such as CB5000-50L, CB5001-57E and AT9030-55L.

> Your budget
15,000CZK (€612, $617)
- I would prefer cheaper options to not take too much money from mom

> Watch type, e.g. dress, diver, pilot
No preference

> Movement, e.g. automatic, hand wound, quartz
No preference

> Desired features, e.g. water resistance, day/date, 2nd time zone
Water resistance would be great, also a digital screen in addition to regular dial

> Preferred strap option, e.g. leather, nylon, bracelet
No preference, but something durable ideally

> Wrist size or desired watch size
I'm 6'3, big dude, however my wrists are pretty regular. No idea what else to add

Also a side note: Are G-Shocks a meme? They seem really out there for regular wearing.

If you get a timex with aligned seconds, it's basically a golden egg. Diameter is too big anyway. Send it back bro.

Depends.
>Underwear
after 1 wear
>socks
dito
>dress shirts
1 wear in summer or when worn without an undershirt, 2 wears in winter
>woolen knits
about 2 washes per year
>jeans et al.
About every second month, or when I got them dirty or sweaty

>I've stopped using the dryer recently, though. Just air drying from now on.
This!
Driers (especially small and cheap ones) are quite the killers.
All that fluffy stuff you find in the filter after every drying run? Its all fibers that got removed from your precious clothing.
>tfw you only have a small apartment with no real option to line dry, and are forced to use a dryer.
Also, unless needed, use low (30 or 40°) temps, gentle/delicate cicle and good, low dosed detergent.
You know the shitty H&M shirts that according to /fa/ lore fall apart after the first wash or two? I have some that are now over 4 years old, and still are just as shitty as they have been when new!

>The only things I wash regularly are my underwear, and bed-sheets/pillow covers (not good for your skin when dirty).
That reminds me: I really gotta wash my sheets more often, especially now that it is friggin hot.
BTW, how the hell do I remove the stains from lube?
