Shoe cream once to twice a week, pop tree in most recently worn shoe. Only really need 2 pairs of trees, but more never hurts. Also makes them smell nice.

I work at Johnston & Murphy, and quality there is now kind of few and far between, but because I work in a Factory store I do stumble upon treasures.

Recently, we bought out TRASK who specializes in Bison and Elk leather. And there are select shoes still handcrafted in US. The box comes signed by the designer and tells you "Pair X of Y."

They only gave us a small shipment to test out, mostly womens, but I lucked out on getting 2 of the Elkhorns. They run around 500 normally, but we got "PS" ones for 150 which, needless to say after my employee discount, was a steal.
