I wouldn't really call them friends, but yes.
The issue I have with it is that I am almost positively assured that they would want me hung for what I like, and that alone, even if I found one that was nice, would kill it.
Plus I don't like sex or any of that too much, and I wouldn't want to do it whatsoever, so it kind of kills the relationship.

I just don't see much of a point in going out with them though.
I've never found them attractive, and I know they hate "my kind" so it just seems pretty useless to me.
Like I feel no sexual attraction whatsoever, and emotionally it's minimal, and that's usually just friend-like, and that's usually, always, crushed by the hate that I know they likely feel.

Sadly that's not an option because I was born male, and obviously people don't trust males with kids because apparently males are controlled by their dick and are supposed to hate children.
