The lack of a full leather insole is not enough to say that the boot's durability is shit. Also with normal use it would probably take 5 years for the sole to need resoling. I would imagine much longer for my courtlands due to the half sole that it comes with.

I know. I just mean that if he can do the shit he does in 1k's, anyone can use them for standard city rain and snow. Getting a topy put on only increases their use as well. Or the 1k courtland which comes with a half sole.
