I think it's decent to good. I think the hands could be more interesting, stick hands in general disinterest me. Also I wouldn't wear a watch with some guys name on it, makes it seem way too "designer". I wouldnt want to have to tell someone I'm wearing a "Paul Hewitt" when they ask.

But really theres so much worse out here and regularly posted, it's not bad at all.

Yeah the Precista was definitely a military contract watch based on the SM300, and the Type I was clearly a result of "build a tougher and cheaper Tudor Submariner (which the US navy had used prior).

Here's another Precista based on a commercial design, they're very rare now unfortunately.
