arguably, however, floral prints and what's new on the fashion scene has a much more positive reasoning behind it. To an extent, everyone will follow trends (even people like myself that pride themselves on avoiding copying things) even if it is just the base trend of casual clothing or sneakers. Unless you're producing your entire wardrobe yourself, you're buying into something. Now, let's divide this into 2 categories: hoodnigga look and acceptable
while hoodnigga trends have stuck around forever, they come with many negative connotations, given the people who tend to dress that way ... hood niggas.

acceptable clothing, is anything that the masses perceive as the norm, or better than the norm (nxtlvl). It shoes that you've tried, put effort into your fit and actually thought about what people will think.
