If you want to avoid the convict look paint on some white and black detailing or use iron on transfer. Add as much white+black as possible. For example I would change all the zipper tabs to white that should be easy enough. If you are decent at sewing sew on some black details. If you could make the wrists and the neck black it would be perfect.
