Wore this leather strap one hole more loosely in the summer and the strap came undone and the watch fell on the floor. Now I'll be paying for another service when it's done soon. Would you trust the strap on the correct hole? Get a different one? Buy a chink replica of an original Heuer bracelet?

I know independent watchmakers could do it cheaper, but it was May 2020 and one independent had it, shutdown for covid, then didn't want to do it. Other places were also shutdown or too busy so I said fuck it and sent it to Tag. I knew at least they wouldn't close for good

Another guy said they butchered a Carrera he sent there, overpolished it and what not, so who knows. I specified multiple times no case refinishing and to keep everything original appearance wise. I don't know if he did that or not
