Seriously though, what's the appeal to Girard Perregaux? Who buy them?
They're asking $9k for pic related, a 40mm "dress" watch with the most boring design. Why buy that instead of a JLC ultra thin? At least you'd get a JLC.
Their flagship watch is a grotesque copy of the Royal Oak and the Nautilus (literally the dial of the RO and the bracelet of the Nautilus... they're not even trying). Honestly, Girard Perregaux might be the most disgusting luxury watch brand. People who buy them should be laughed at and legally considered mentally retarded.
