I have only have one other, anon. I was trying to assemble a list of summery fits I could wear, but for the past two weeks I've been getting this intense self-loathing feeling when I look in the mirror. It's hard to shop for clothing when you can't stand looking at yourself. I hope it passes.

Just had a sobering experience. I went to see a play in what I thought was acceptable clothing (jeans, tshirt, overshirt with rolled sleeves, and sneakers). I was proven incorrect. I didn't know it was possible to feel so much acute pain from being out of place, and I've been mentally kicking myself in the ass over it for the past two days. I never want to feel like that again; problem is, I'm (as you could tell by the clothing listed earlier) fashion clueless.
I did some googling and found some inspiration pics. This is one of my favorites, and I'm going to try to emulate it as I have roughly the same body. What kind of shirt, pants, and shoes would this be, and would the belt be an essential piece? Note that I know this is more of a casual piece; I want to "work my way up the scale" from casual to formal.
