I dont shampoo, only co-washes and conditioner maybe once every 2 weeks. only comb out your hair when wet and use oils, i use coconut. i comb my hair once a month so i dont build a damn dread in the back of my head, but i finger comb a lot of the time in the shower.

if you MUST comb your hair i highly suggest making small parts and combing each one individually, once again wet and then with oils

since you have about half of what i had i would solely stick to finger combing every day in the shower, and shake/air dry though
