When I first got my rain oxfords I could tighten them up and I could fully slip out the heel if I tried
After wearing them a few times now they barely even heel slip but they're still not comfy (too narrow).

I only wear them like 4-5 times a year so I just suck it up. I last wore them in August for a wedding and it was fine.
