Here's a before pic of me, but this pic kind of glamorizes it, almost. You can't see that I'm wearing Merrels. Also, my hair got far worse; this was a whole YEAR before I finally cut off the ponytail. (I ended up looking like a hobo)

Believe it or not, I never really watched much anime.

What made me change? I dunno. I suppose I finally started looking at what other people wear instead of assuming I naturally dressed well, and actually listened to my friend's fashion advice for a change. I also stopped listening to my mom's fashion advice, because I finally realized that she knows nothing about fashion.

Also, for some reason it took me a long time to actually see how things were supposed to fit. For some reason I assumed that I worse size L shirts, when I'm actually a size M, and didn't realize that slim fits are actually awesome.
