Are you faggots serious? When did ill-fitted American suits and fedoras become defensible on /fa/?

Bottom-middle was fashionable from roughly 1920 to 1960 (although even then that guy would be a bit out of place because of the frumpy, badly tailored fit of his suit). Its no longer "in", and other stuff is, fucking deal with it and move on.

And if your counterargument is "when did men stop dressing like REEL MEN" or "swag is for boys ecks dee", I could just as easily pick any outfit from any historical era and say the exact same thing and be just as valid. Why not wear puffed-and-slashed sleeves and garters? Tricorne hats and tailcoats? Tournament armor? Fucking loincloths?

I'm not saying I agree with every modern fashion trend, or even most of them, but I also don't think LARPing as Sherlock Holmes will do anything to counteract the "bad" trends.
