What are your thoughts on the old pullover style, antique shirts? Would you be able to incorporate anything like this into your wardrobe, and figure out ways to wear it effectively enough? Shirts were looser before the 20th century, and as a history enthusiast, and possibly upcoming historical reenactor, I am thinking of picking one up soon. The most generally well-received and authentic 19th and 18th century shirts are usually made of linen, as opposed to cotton, and are more expensive investments. There was a time when cotton was harder to obtain, and was a more expensive item for usually the wealthy, so most people probably wore linen, hemp, or very crude cotton such as osnaburg.

What do you think of loose fitting shirts, in general? Are there any that you wear? Do you prefer them to regular and slim fits, or not?
