Every morning I wake up with this little ratty tuft of hair on the back of my head. It has been the antagonist of my existence forever pretty much and its always in the same place on the back of my left side. Does anybody know why this might happen its just really dry and frizzy and it is the only part of my hair which gets this way.

Pic doesn't show it but shows the general style I have.My hair is thin and curly.
