I recall going to a sneaker store to try on ramones with some friends who aren't really into fashion and they said they were like clown shoes, but everyone was complimenting my geos when I wore them. I think the clown shoes comment will really only come out if you're really lanky or have disproportionately large feet.


Overall I think they're lowkey enough for people who don't know to like them, but iconic enough for fashion fans to recognise and appreciate.

On the topic of durability, people have rick dunks from like 2010 which they rock so they're definitely durable (you'll just need to see a cobbler about the sole at some point).

I'll post some accessible rick fits for you, too. This one's a favourite of mine despite the fucking awful pose.
