This particular baton is made by ESP, 26 inches hardened steel. I guess you can get one, but make sure to practice baton fighting cuz otherwise you might as well grab a rock from the street. I practice HEMA, but in our club we also have baton training, knife work and hand to hand self-defense, which is not common for other clubs. Your best bet is finding a place that teaches Escrima.

If it were paperwork that'd be fine, problem is you can't get a license if you do not work in a "risk" job or do not have a "justifiable reason", which is absolutely arbitrary and is not defined in any way.

Hey, it's no good against someone with a firearm, but it's the next best thing, especially if you know how to use it and spar with people often enough.
