You could consider a vintage Bulova, Pulsar, etc if you want something with more character as a pure fashion piece.

I think wearing a watch like this is sort of a lighthearted middle finger to watch people. Fine watches are a waste of money vs function, and also overpriced as jewelry because of all the watch parts. I like gold tone specifically because it's trashy and sort of tongue in cheek, where silver just feels more expensive than a black plastic one for no reason.
