I feel like with cement there's potential for building the furniture into the house itself. It'd be kinda of a fusion between the Arts & Crafts movement, Brutalism, and Japanese inspired minimalism. You could have built in shelves and benches, which you could put cushions on later.

Anyway, look up George Suyama to see good examples of modern materials like cement fused with natural materials and surroundings. He's my favorite architect.
