Not him and it's not quite the answer to your question but I looked up Google trends chart for Sauvage, BdC, Aventus. It seems that their popularity is not fading (all the spikes are around Christmas each year). However, from my experience it seems that the target audience has changed. I don't really smell it on ppl at my uni a lot but rather on streets
