e-flux journal and bomb magazine have introduced me to a lot of good things also, actually I think I first learned of farocki and kluge from articles written by each of those two respectively. Let's see, I found e-flux from their acceleration issue centered around nick land, who wrote about jungle music and crazy cyber-occult conspiracies in the 90s. I don't know where I learned of Land, probably from some semiotext[e] thing
