Are you me? I've been asking /fa/ for the past two weeks the exact same question. I have size 14 US feet.

Basically, /fa/ told me that yeah, Iron Rangers have a large toe box and will look like clown shoes. They recommended Wolverine 1000 miles instead. The problem is that they're $350, and you can't get them at a discount on eBay like you can with Iron Rangers.

My searching has lead me to Chippewa Apache boots. They seem to have a smaller toebox, they're recommended by mfa and rawr denim (which may or may not be a good thing), and they're only $120.

Which is why I came to this thread. I want to ask what you guys think of these boots.

My size 14US feet fit into size 12US IRs when I went to my local Red Wing store, but they still felt kind of clown shoe-ish.

Why should I cop 1000 miles when I can cop Chippewa Apache boots for a third of the price? They both look damn good imo.
