I only have one pair at the moment, planning on getting more somewhere down the line.
They'd be great for lifters on account of their jodhpur-style fit. Not all Julius cargos have this cut, but the ones that do will be very wide in the thighs/glutes and then taper on down to an ankle that belongs on a skinny jean.
They're easily the best & most substantial cargos I own, with the PRPS Milt coming in a very close second.
The pockets are huge and slanted, they have a closure you see on gas mask bags. Kind of a snap but far more heavy duty.
Really, if you can find the OG gas mask cargos with a taper, go for it. They're glorious. Nothing compares in my experience. I bought mine from Joe_of_Joes on ebay, NWT for $250. A Size 1 is a 29-30. A size 2 is a 31-32 or thereabouts.
Julius cargos also come in a variety of fabrics. The ones I'm wearing are made of a very distressed, very treated heavy grey denim twill. They were from the SS12 mainline (_7) collection and the colorway is 'plaster'. There are other Julius cargos made out of cotton, cupro, whatever. Ebay is your friend.

That's just, like, your opinion, man. I think it can be done, fairly easily. It's often a look that strays very far from certain accepted norms, but if the role of your outfit is to explore something different or to just have fun with fashion, how does a personal judgement call like the one you're making even enter the picture? Don't act like "pulling it off" is a completely objectively observable phenomenon, either.

You see, it's not about being deluded. It's not even a matter of right & wrong. Nevertheless, you're halfway to the truth - you acknowledge that arguing is pointless. You see something ridiculous, I see something that really speaks to me like few other things can. It's not that I'm deluded or autistic, it's not even about right and wrong, because we're both right. We both like what we like and that's good.

It's only when we go shoving our opinions down other people's throats with insults and derision that we are ever truly wrong.

These are your feelings. Do you understand what that means? This is how YOU personally feel when you look at pic related. This is valid, but only for you personally, because it is just a feeling. It's not a multi-paragraph discourse on the pathetic futility of 'tacticool' getups in emasculated late-capitalist white males, It is not an elevated commentary. No, it's something you felt. And that's great, but YOUR feelings are no more important than anyone else's. They don't magically carry any more weight than anyone else's. You're not our elected arbiter of taste here and you don't have to go around poisoning threads about things you don't like. It's mean spirited, and kind of cheap.
