I'm a fan, but only if:

- The bottom buttons are aligned with either the pockets or the pocket flaps (4x1 can be above the pockets)
- The lapels point to the very edge of the shoulder and don't fly away above the top of the shoulder (pic related)
- The pants are balanced to the jacket, with a wider cut, cuffs, and pleats

Also, for peak lapels, the visual ideal is for the edge of the shoulder to be somewhere in this zone. Lapels that are too narrow, too angled, or too low/high have trouble hitting it and look off.
