Look, man, think for yourself. That's the takeaway. I know, classic memes about "JUST BEE URSELF" are valid, but this is legitimately a personal choice. First, think of people you think look cool. That's it. That's step one. Don't listen to traditional rules or YouTube style guides or anything, think of three or four guys you always went "shit, that looks cool" at, one outfit or their general style, and their attitude. Combine them in your head. Any crossover? Great, you have a couple common pieces to look for.

Put them together, try them on. Do they fit you well, are you comfortable? Great if it does. If it doesn't, rethink comfort, think how you'll balance being comfortable versus what you think of as looking cool, and what sacrifices you'd make for either. (Frankly, this was a fun one for me personally because anyone who says that jeans are more comfortable than a good pair of slacks is a tasteless liar or bought the wrong shit.) Then, look at where you're at, if you like what you're beginning to be, and adjust from there. Wear things a bit different, tucked/untucked, leave a button loose, etc. Just feel it out.

Now think of other things that may be an aspect of your "style" aside from just everyday clothes. What scents do you like, what would you like to follow you every day? Do you find watches practical? Do you like that practicality, or as a function of status and worth? Have a family ring or necklace or anything you've kept around? Bring that in too.

At the end of the day, being as non-trite as possible, this requires thinking, and it's an exercise of the exploration and understanding of the inner self.

Just don't wear a fucking Naruto jacket.

Question about applying frags, dumb one but more an "ask the experienced" thing. I get the basics of it, I've used scents for years, use the basic hints off the FAQ and charts, etc. However, now I'm taking it more seriously, getting into more complex, specific scents now, and trying a variety to find what really suits me, instead of just masking myself and using gifts.

I typically apply one spray to the clavicle, two to the wrists right at the base where the hards start on the pulse point. However, I end up washing my hands a lot at work/in general life, and I've begun to notice where that's really knocking off what I applied low on the wrist, and may be affecting long-term performance. I also worry it might be rubbing off with my watch a bit, too. Which, this sounds autistic as fuck, but when I'm trying to understand the full arc of scents I'm testing to drop $200 on a bottle of, I kind of want to know what the fuck that is and get everything I can out of it.

How do any of you find performance spraying it further up the wrist, about 3-4 inches back? Is that not "pulse-y" enough to work? I specifically prefer clavicle/wrist placement because between personal style, work, and climate, I'm 99% of the time in longer rolled up sleeves and an open collar, so that's most of my exposure. Any suggestions/experience appreciated.
