I'm in the same boat as you anon. My tip would be to never get anything that's a fad or will not be timeless. My sister has a bunch of shit tattoos from gears of war, star wars, romantically apocalyptic, and mass effect. Also, though this is a more personal taste, I'd be careful with mixing coloured tattoos and black tattoos. Have a majority one way or the other. In the same vain try not to mix simple tattoos with complex tattoos.
