Upgrade from a Weekender, first "real" watch in that aspect. I'll be buying a nice cordovan Horween strap too, as the one it comes with is simply awful and Horween ages so nicely.

I'd buy a horween leather strap to go with it; the one that comes on it looks horrible.

It'd be an upgrade from the weekender and from what I've read it's among the best watches you can get for the money, ~$400.
