It's because that level of finishing is great at that price point, not at something more than 3x that price point. It shows more in things like the hands, indices & case than it does in the movement. The movement has good beveling & cotes de geneve but seiko tends to go with straight brushing instead of perlage. If you want dufour tier perfect polished bevels you'd have to go with a micro art studio credor.
