There are tons and tons of plants and being in Seattle you have much more ideal growing conditions than most places. Honestly since you have money the easiest thing for you to do would be go to a plant store or nursery and just ask them there what plants would work for your place. Know which direction your windows face, think about how much you will be able to look after them, and how much of you're free time you're willing to spend taking care of them. Monsteras are easy, they like bright windows, they like to dry out before they get watered again, and they like a pole or something to support them as they grow.
