Are these things okay for basic menswear? I don't care about being super /fa/, I'm just trying to have slightly nice things and not look like a slob. I got them because they fit awesome and feel wonderful, but now I'm hemming and hawing because they have more dress-shoe looking ones with the same soles.

I did find these for half off though and there's no guarantee I'd find better. Advice?
