I didn't take pictures on the day of the repair but this will do. This is the DG4813 which is of the same design, just thinner.

As I expected, the problem was in the keyless works. The clutch lever (green oval) was not resting on the clutch. Instead, it was where the red oval is; the clutch had slipped out from under the clutch lever. The clutch lever is under tension and pushes the clutch towards the center of the watch, in the direction of the red arrow. This forces the watch into its time-setting mode, which explains why the hands were moving when I tried to wind the watch. Additionally, because this watch hacks (i.e. the watch stops when you try to set the time), the hack lever (not pictured here; it also rests on the clutch but on the interior of the movement) arrested the wheel train and the watch could not run.

The blurry screw in the red circle was missing for whatever reason and it may have been that, because this screw was missing, the clutch lever was more loose than it should have been, allowing the clutch to slip out from under it.
