The Truman's were a group buy in advance and I sent in my Brannock details and a tracing of my feet I already had on a different company's form. Basically went a half size down and up in width. They fit great but have their own feel. The waist feels kind of rounded? So completely went against my own advice of trying boots on but it all worked out. The leather is kind of like in this pic but is horse hide. My experience was very positive.

I went to Dayton in Van and none of what they had was for me. Lots of the boots looked like 70s platform shoes or Glam Rock gear. They do lots of custom stuff and are very into customer service. The quality and workmanship is great and the prices are very very good. They have a Tough Logging boot that is really cool looking. I was looking for a pair of Engineer boots and really considered those Logging boots but maybe because I didn't like anything else there.

I go up half a size from the Brannock in my running shoes, sometimes a whole size. For the Truman's I went down a half size but went wider. Let them know about your RWs but maybe consider checking your Brannock size and doing a tracing of your feet as well?
