I can agree with that on the regular 3-day models, none of them have any business being that expensive for what they have to offer.
The steel and titanium 8-day models are priced... Not exactly overpriced, but rather, let's say ambitiously.
I was eyeing a 510 or 564, but the local currency took a massive fall on account of this virus that's going on, the AD jacked up the prices accordingly, and now the price for a new watch is straight up obscene.
Prices on Chrono24 aren't too bad, but I'm already waiting on a different watch, and I have my reservations about spending much money in these corona times.
