I wear a pair of vintage Gargoyles, same ones from this movie. They are clear and cover pretty much all of the peripheral, perfect for driving, ballistic rated too. My pair is a bit beat up since I dropped em in the harbor and had to scuba dive to find them, but I'll keep wearing them forever.
