showed playcounts because some of them are only like 5 plays

got to listening to chvrches because someone dissed them in one of these threads and I thought "might as well listen to this band that everyone keeps talking about". not going to embarrass myself by trying to describe my impressions of the album, but a few tracks were surprisingly good. it's just pop songs so I'm not really worried whether someone thinks I'm a pleb for enjoying it

candy claws is a little bit boring after you listen to it a few times

like they have a sort of gimmick that impresses you for all of five minutes then it starts to feel a little flat. to me, anyway. maybe I just haven't listened to it the right way

lone is cool but I haven't heard that album yet

all that in a week though? fuck, I couldn't listen to 25 different artists in a week, I'm just not wired that way

the magic place is a special album for me, and I've listened to it a lot more, but whenever I get around to listening to nepenthe it always amazes me
