I think there's a difference between "being liberal" and being "a liberal," you know what I mean?

Being actually left-wing liberal I'd effay as fuck. The problem is, people who call themselves "liberal" (I'm looking at you, tumblr....) Tend to share a lot if conservative ideals.

>Being "pro-choice" is a super far right position to hold, yet a lot "liberals" hold it
>Being an isolationist on the world stage is so far right even tea partiers/libertarians support it and yet you hear so many "liberals" who are against American/UK/Coalition involvement in affairs where genocide
>standing up for freedom of speech is an INTEGRAL value in liberal ideology and contemporary "liberals" are stifling it.


Being a liberal (think Christopher Hitchens — not including any of his religious stuff, but rather his politics) is definitely effay.
