If you spend some time on Y!JP auctions, there are a few interesting things. Mostly early stuff, which isn't quite as cool. There's a pair of these shoes in a different color and without the glue skin, if I recall correctly. Cool concept, ugly shoe.

If you look closely, it's one of the "prosthetic spine elbow" leather jackets, with the titanium pads sewn in. Not that it reduces the cheese factor, or anything.

Those look great. Nice purchase. I'm on the fence between getting some shell cordovan Guidis and getting a pair of Tornados. I feel like the Guidis would be more versatile, but every time I see the Tornados they look so cool and so distinct. It's too bad the U-cup soles are supposed to be fragile since those look crazy.
