Unless you are legit a drug dealer, bounty hunter, PI, musician, or something else that is fringe or not the norm, you’re going to look like a fucking LARP. Imagine a 20 year old showing up to his college class dressed like he just finished fishing a ball of cocaine from a drug mules’ ass. Imagine a 30 year old 9-5’er off the clock from work wearing head to toe sopranos core, chains and all, with slicked back hair. It’s just too much of a lifestyle to be a fashion, unless again you’re actually fringe in which case you may be able to pull it off. You’re taking the most stylishly dressed criminals or scumlords from tv shows, movies, etc and trying to bring it into real life with little care for how well it actually blends with your own lifestyle. It’s the same reason why Daniel Day Lewis in pic related is so ridiculous, the dude is a super famous wealthy actor and he’s strolling around acting like he just finished up a day at the factory or whatever.
