I've had a pair of waterproof Palladiums that I've been wearing for the better part of 8 years, and the sole finally wore through.

I'm looking for a boot I can use in the winter for around town. I have heavier winter boots for actual outdoor use, these are mostly for grabbing groceries and being at work (office). I'm in the upper midwest.

I'm drawn to the techier look of some of the Palladiums, but the build quality isn't always the greatest.

Are there any other brands I should be looking at that fit this?

Primarily black, maybe a pop of color, waterproof and some insulation.
