It depends where you are and who is attending. If most of the people attending think jeans and a flannel is dressing up, then nobody except maybe the women will notice.

You might check out Beckett Simonon as well, if the occasion is still well off in the year. They are a good bit cheaper, still quite decent quality. The catch is that every single shoe is made to order, so you'll have to wait several months for it and they don't offer wide sizes.
