You would honestly say that when he was much smaller didn't need to worry about meeting certain numbers he would put out poorly designed department store-tier pieces? No. It is in no way some artisinal level suit or coat but

You just have to look at the pieces and you'll know that's not true.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with these. You would be fairly hard pressed to find any designer that has simply never used one of those materials. I think it only becomes questionable when the majority of the pieces are being made out of those material, the prices stay the same, and the quality is going down as well.
