It's wedding season guys. Can we get a suit thread?

I've been meaning to buy a suit for a while. I have one that I wore to my brother's wedding but it's all black, from men's warehouse, not very fashionable.

I'd like to get something I can wear for a fancier night out, to classier bars, etc.

Am I best off getting a suit with pants and pairing the blazer with other pants for variety?

What about color, material?

Is a place like Zara a good or bad start? I don't want to spend a ton of money but I will splurge a little if the quality is worth it. I'd like to get the equivalent of what Levis are to jeans, for example.

And is tailoring necessary or a waste of money at my level of expenditure? I'm pretty normally proportioned but can probably fit into a slim cut.

Definitely not my favorite Thom show by far. Bad palettes, weird styling and most pieces weren't very wearable. Still interesting to see and it probably would've been fun to see live. Also dat get.

This isn't a good excuse but I work minimum wage so I've had to build my wardrobe from scratch purely with my own money. I do still live at home so I don't pay bills or anything but it's still slow, besides that when I first started caring about how I dress and copping clothes I bought exactly what /fa/ told me too. So right now my wardrobe is pretty boring, my really bad fits are almost always ones I'm just experimenting with seeing if I actually like the pieces together or not. I haven't been able to cop anything major in forever because I had to buy a new computer and then a blazer for wedding in school so that was like a month and a half of work right there. Since I've started really getting into fashion I've really stopped caring so much about how I look, and more just on gathering knowledge on the designers I wanted to buy before. Sorry this ended up being really long.
