Honestly never liked NMDs and the only UB I ever liked was the 1.0. The '19 looks like an unfinished shoe and is aesthetically inferior to the UB 1.0 while only being slightly more comfortable.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, but only the first generation looks nice.

They're very high maintenance because the boost sole is a porous material that absorbs dirt/water and will stain and turn disgustingly yellow in under a month if you don't clean them at least once or twice a week.

Nah, boost is awful and absorbs dirt and mud, and oxidizes quickly until it turns a sickly yellowish brown.

It's completely unpreventable and irreversible once it gets to this point, which happens in months unless you literally wipe the boost down every time you wear them.

I love the silhouette of the 1.0 ub, but people definitely won't give a shit about the ub in 10 years.

What do people think of the ultraboost, specifically the first generation?

I still think they're the only athletic looking shoe that I genuinely like aesthetically

I know no one likes ub anymore but I wear them every day at work for 8-10 hours on my feet and I never have foot pain

They're basically more expensive and more comfy roshes so just use them as you would a roshe.

I have about ten pairs of 1.0 ubs in my collection and am thinking of thinning it out to maybe just the 3ms, creams, and metallic silver ltds.

I kind of want to keep my solar yellows, too, but I know they'll fade in the sun and drop in value.

No other running shoe comes close to the first gen ub, and every generation after has ruined them model more and more.
