Yes and no. It's a tax on foreign products, but it's not to promote buying domestic products, but to even the balance with the rest. If the US imports south african oranges, those will be much cheaper than american oranges because labor is cheaper at SA, if you place the customs tax on SA oranges, the final price will be closer to US oranges, thus balances the markets.

If yesterday's pic had awful quality, today's one is even worse. I have to start taking pics back to the other mirror or get closer.
