I find /fa/ just jumps on the bandwagon of what the 'real' fashion boards are doing like the dadcore/rawz to goofninja/streetwear progression that sufu, sz and styleforum went through. Its just that /fa/ tends to do it late, then /mfa/ does it even later than us and beats the dead horse lol.

I think it has to do with that /fa/gs saw those streetwear/goofninja looks on sufu/sf/sz but cos they were young they couldnt afford that shit but now they are gettign the stuff because they can afford it now even thoug hte look is somewhat dead

It wont be long before /mfa catches onto the goofninja/techwear that it will become the default look, then probably the default look of main society like the dadcore look

Also you have to remember how boards would have given you shit for incorporating regular modern sneakers as opposed to 'classic simple sneakers'. But now nike frees, roshe, flyknits, NB are all the rage.
