anyone got a pair of dr martens in size eu 45, who could measure the insole length in cm?

My pair is relatively beat up and scuffed so they don't have that shitty new-boot look, but I still can't help looking like an arts student or college leftist when I wear them. Is dressing like a neo Nazi or school shooter the only way to pull these off without looking like a fag?

What brand of shoe should I look at if I want something like Doc Martens but without the yellow stitching on the sole? I like the look but I think that stitching would look better in black instead of bright yellow.

Also how bulky are Docs? They seem rather wide/thick while I'm kind of a slim guy, and find the Austrian meme boots to be as bulky of a boot as I like to wear on most circumstances, not including hiking where thick boots are justified.

Hey /fa/ , i dont post here often , ive been checking out boots thread on here , i was just wondering if anyone can tell me if docs are really that bad and fall apart easily , everyones been shitting on them a lot and i just bought a pair of new ones

I'm looking for some cheap(ish) 8-inch leather boots. Are Doc Martens 1460s an alright purchase? I want something that can deal with the light snow we're getting in Seattle, but I don't want actual snow-boots. I was really banking on it not snowing this year but now I'm screwed because I've only got pairs of sneakers and leather shows.

As an aside, does anyone know how their Chelsea boots are? It's hard for me to find decent men's Chelsea's that aren't way above my price-range.
